Okay, seriously, that was more like it. I've slowly been losing interest in the series over the past few years, mainly because the last several books have been... not exactly to my tastes. This one, while it definitely had some issues (and, oh, did it have some issues :-/), reminded me just why I fell in love with this series in the first place. ( Lots and lots of spoilers, in the form of random thoughts. )

Let's say, hypothetically, that someone spent the last few weeks re-reading The Dresden Files in its entirety, including all of the short stories. And that, therefore, said person is currently in the mood to read fanfiction based on the series.

Where would the aforementioned person look? Other than AO3? Is there a LJ community, or specific authors ( Read more... )

They've just announced that the new book will be coming out in July instead of April like it usually does. The end of July, too.

Oh, well. Patience is a virtue, right? :-/
